Biography

Malcolm Robertson trained as a physicist, obtaining a BSc from the University of London and a PhD from the University of Surrey. While developing instrumentation for ionising radiation, nuclear medicine, and XRF mineral analysis, he also became accredited as an electronics engineer, forming his own companies in the UK and Australia for R&D, manufacturing, and marketing.

Experience in temperature measurement, analogue electronics, and mechanical design gained in other fields has been applied to innovative measurement techniques for pump performance and flow meters. The instrumentation has been developed, manufactured, and marketed by his own company, Robertson Technology Pty Ltd, based in Western Australia, since 2001.
